Pneumatic Cylinders use precautions
1. Air quality requirements
Use clean and dry compressed air. The air should not contain organic solvents, synthetic oils, salt, corrosive gases, etc. to prevent cylinder and valve action. Before installation, the connecting pipeline should be fully purged, do not bring dust, debris, sealing bags and other impurities into the cylinder, valve.
2、Different types of pneumatic cylinders Use of environmental requirements
In dusty, dripping and oil dripping places, the rod side should be equipped with telescopic protective sleeve. If the telescopic protective sleeve cannot be used, the cylinder with strong dust ring or waterproof cylinder should be used.
If the ambient temperature and medium temperature of the cylinder with magnetic switch exceeds -10 to 60℃, anti-freezing or heat-resistant measures should be taken.
In the environment of strong magnetic field, the cylinder with automatic switch that resists strong magnetic field shall be selected.
Standard cylinders shall not be used in corrosive mists, nor shall they be used in mists in which air bubbles are generated by the use of seals.
3、 About cylinder lubrication
To the cylinder oil lubrication, should be configured with the appropriate flow of oil mist.
Do not give the cylinder oil lubrication, because the cylinder is pre-lubricated, can be used for a long time. This type of cylinder can also be used with oil, but once it is oiled, it cannot be stopped.
No. 1 turbine oil (ISOVG32) should be used for lubrication. Motor oil, spindle oil, etc. should not be used to avoid soaking and swelling of NBR and other seals.
4、 About the load of the cylinder
Normally, only axial loads should be applied to the piston rod. Avoid applying transverse loads and eccentric loads to the piston rod. When transverse loads exist, the piston rod should be guided or a cylinder with a guide rod should be selected.
When the direction of the load changes, it is recommended to use a floating joint between the front end of the piston rod and the load. In this way, there will not be any force separation at any position of the stroke.
Cylinders are subject to high forces, and the cylinder mounting platform should take measures to prevent loosening, deformation and damage.
During cylinder operation, no part of the body should be placed within its stroke range to avoid injury.
>When repairing the cylinder on the equipment, the frl filter source must be cut off first to ensure that the cylinder gas is emptied until the equipment is at a standstill before operation.
>After repairing a cylinder, check that any part of the body is within its range of travel before connecting the air supply for a test run. When connecting the gas supply, the cylinder should be inflated to its original position by slowly injecting some gas and then inserting the one touch fittings.
