2. Cooling: the flow of lubricant can take away some heat and reduce the temperature inside the cylinder, thus achieving the effect of cooling.
3. Cleaning: lubricating oil can also clean the cylinder wall and piston, remove carbon and impurities, keep the cylinder wall smooth.
4. Anti-corrosion: lubricating oil added rust and corrosion inhibitor, can prevent rust and corrosion of the internal parts of the cylinder.
The use of cylinder lubrication
Cylinder lubrication is mainly used in automobiles, generator sets, ships and industrial machinery and other internal combustion engines. In automotive internal combustion engines, lubricating oil is pressed onto the lubricating oil circuit through an oil pump, and then flows into the inside of the cylinder after being filtered by a filter cartridge to form a thin film that maintains the clearance between the piston and the cylinder wall.
